Borehole & Water Well Drilling
We supply borehole drilling to whole Saudi Arabia areas and Bahrain. Following initial discussion and site surveying, our modern drilling rigs, crewed by highly trained and experienced staff, can be mobilized at client’s requests.All our work encompasses a complete service from an initial consultation and survey to water abstraction and treatment.
Drilling at appropriate diameters (from 4 inch and up to 24 inches) for the quantity of water required or to client specifications, our drilling equipment is maintained to the highest standards to comply with Health and Safety legislation which helps in making the process of drilling efficient, minimizing disruption and disturbance. Drilling depths of over 1300 meters are easily and quickly achievable.
Rock strata are progressively assessed to form an accurate record of the borehole and to assess the rocks’ strengths, aiding in the selection of appropriate support casing configurations which in turn ensures longevity and high performance into the future. Reports of the strata encountered are delivered to the Saudi Geological Survey post borehole completion (required by law).

faas has significant experience in installing submersible water pumps and surface pumping systems whether working with our own borehole installations or those provided by third parties.
Following borehole/water well drilling, and where necessary pump testing, faas will install the appropriate pumping system to suit the client's requirements. The characteristics of the borehole and available groundwater along with the needs of the end-user in terms of flow rate and delivery pressure will all be taken into account for the installing process.
faas are able to design, specify and install systems that are bespoke to the situation.
The company is ideally placed to help our clients’ systems to operate to their maximum potential throughout the lifespan of the component parts. With comprehensive workshops, storage areas, testing facilities and service vans, faas can remove and recover failed pumping equipment quickly and supply and install the necessary replacement equipment where repair proves impossible at short notice helping to ensure minimum interruption to the water supply.

After the monitoring of the water source the data can be analyzed and opinions can be given on borehole and aquifer properties to clients and regulators. Data can always be provided to third parties in formats that they require

A Borehole CCTV survey takes a down hole look at your new or existing borehole enabling you to see your borehole casing, geology and aquifer in real time. A mobile CCTV camera can be lowered into your borehole, to depths in excess of 300m and into water, enabling you to see the subsurface of your borehole, not only is this interesting for the geologist but extremely useful for the engineer; allowing them to spot problems and plan out potential fixes.
Demonstrates the actual construction of your borehole, including the amount of casing installed and depth of the borehole.Allows a hydro geologist to see the underlying rock strata and where water is entering through fractures and fissures into the borehole.Can give an idea on the quality of water in the borehole.Periodic inspection gives the opportunity for an engineer to determine if the well construction is in good condition or well refurbishment is
needed.
If a borehole has a problem the CCTV survey may identify where and what this is, has the borehole got an obstruction? What depth is this at and what is it? Making it much easier for the engineer to solve.
A full color DVD recording of your down hole borehole survey is provided allowing you to review this in comfort and allowing an engineer time to consider any further requirements. A permanent historical record of the borehole is provided which can be added to periodically. Money and time can be saved by the knowledge that is provided by the borehole CCTV Survey.

We are well equipped on site water and borehole engineers but we are also equally well equipped to give advice and consultancy on your borehole water supply, construction, water treatment, pumping test and maintenance of your borehole.
We’ve written numerous reports for clients for several different requirements whether they be full hydro-geological risk assessments, pumping test reports, environmental risk assessments, private water supply risk assessments, home buyer reports when boreholes or spring are the water supply and borehole status reports to name but a few.
